Triple Rum Black Pepper Cake

Happy Sunday! I made this cake about a month ago for a party, and it was superb. Love the spice that the black pepper adds, and the triple rum kick in the cake, syrup, and glaze. Not a big rum fan, but I adore it in this cake. Also love the soft yet dense crumb - definitely one I will make again.

    I am completely enamored with this cake right now-- still pining for it after a week!! I didn't expect to like it this much, but it was divine. The rum/pepper combo is brilliant, isn't it?? Beautiful photos-- nicely done! It's great to have you back blogging, Erin-- we missed you! :)
